Huntley & Palmer McBride scored because Rosenior was out of position for the man crossing and Shorey had let McBride just walk into the box to convert unmarked. I would say USA should have done much better with the second though, didn't narrow the angle enough and indeed made a poor dive

Alan Partridge On a side note, if we stay up and Fulham down I'd really like Brian McBride here. That strong as a bull style target man is something we desperately need.

Some would argue that 1988 was the best season ever from the perspective of going to Wembley for the Royals inaugural trip..........and yet c/w silverwear we got relegated.
This season (our second best season ever) is not a "f8ucking joke" it is merely a statistical fact.....thanks for stating the obvious tho'..the results had obviously passed me by...........................

floyd__streeteTheRealRoyal I say if we actually decide that we like playing in the premiership and dont get relegated, and fulham then do, JM shoud spalsh the cash on Bullard. The mans a legend. His performance was only bettered by that of the South Stand Crossbar.
I'd suggest that there is more chance of the Pope coming to Reading than Jimmy Bullard, Premier League or not (my money is on not).

I am one of the most plastic on here. But I have to think, if you put the 2005-2006 Championship in the Prem that season that they would have easily finished higher than the 2007-2008 team is going to finish this year. So I would put this season third behind the previous two.

Alan PartridgeJerry St Clair Nail firmly hit on head by the Fulham fans.
After a season of utter crap, that has to be the big shiny turd on top of the effluent cake.
To pre-empt Alan Partridge: DUMP.
Said before the game it would be shit, thankfully though Fulham gave me some football to watch.
LOL @ Reading, seriously we are RUBBISH.
Bolton 3 Reading 0
Reading 0 Bolton 2
Fulham 3 Reading 1
Reading 0 Fulham 2
Deserve to go down.

sheshnu I thought that Steve had already said (many times) that he will honour his contract.
Maybe I imagined it or I remember it wrong.
