I wish people would add to ongoing threads rather than start new ones.

wolseySpotters Badge Probably because he couldn't get players better than we have already on the wages that we were prepared to pay.
I agree - I heard JM on BBC Radio Berks, and it was difficult to hear what he was saying over the sound of running water as he washed his hands of the situation.

This sounds great but really it's complete bullshit. first of all there is absolutely no way you believed that all the responsibility and hence all the praise was due to JM for our success. No way. Second, how absurd and what atrocious management would it be for the head of a troubled organization to just say "my bad" and not pay any attention to who might not have done their job in the system. All he's said is we'll have to examine where mistakes were made. But as countless threads on here are demonstrating, if you want to beat up on a figure at the club you don't like, any amount of twisting of the facts and exaggeration will serve.Royal & Ancient My attitude has not changed. This is about leadership/management when the boss is responsible for what happens to his organisation and should take the credit/flak accordingly. He should examine what has gone wrong and take effective action within the business. Not expect to blame everyone else. This is what shoulders are for -a basic management concept about responsibility.

allwite123working class heroBefore everyone has a rant at him, do remember that it is HIS money, not the club's that he'd be spending.
So.... 40 million of Sky cash, cash from catering, programmes, shop, hospitality, something like 15 million from ticket sales - and you really think Mr M is bankrolling the club? I reckon he is more likely to be skimming profits.
Wait a minuite. Hunty is on 25K a week and i believe shorey signed for 28K a week when he signed a new conract in the summer. Now lets do some maths. This means he is paying hunty and shorey £2,760,000 a year alone. Now when added with the other 35 players yearly salarys, stuwards, security, police costs, hospitality staff, over heads for the stadium and training faciltiys, grounds men etc etc. Wouldnt say your getting much change off £60,000,000. No way is he skimming!!!!

Man Friday "He who laughs last laughs longest". Wonder who this will be: Liam or Seol? Wonder if either have any regrets at leaving their clubs? Liam because he'd be playing at a club in the PL next season. Seol because he'd be playing.
