Around £3 and £4 Million

Good player on the ball but hasn't score enough goals.

When you see players like Chopra and Kenwyn Jones who have little to no prem experience going for around the £6million mark I'd expect that at the very least for Doyle.

I'd probably agree although Chopra and Doyle are overvalued at that

i know he has had an offish season but he is young and would walk it in the Championship

I would add a "0" to his original price

Me too. Maybe he should have said two zeros to the original price?

I would be surprised if any club could match our valuation of him. We would price him on the basis of a season and a half of brilliance, and would explain away last season as a mixture of post-injury blues and abysmal service.

Whereas any buyers would probably just see only 1/2 a season out of 2 seasons where he's performed at premiership level.

You want us to get £780,000,000 for him? Highest valuation for a player ever!

He was a total gamble when we first signed him but proved his worth. In the promotion season I'd guess £2-3m. His first prem season he did even better and started scoring for Ireland, so his value then must of been £8-10m. This season he's been poor, he looked tired and slow, if he goes now we'd be lucky to get £3-4m for him.

Am glad he's had a bad season in a way. If he'd had a good season and we'd have gone down or even if we'd stayed up he would have been wanted by everyone and we wouldn't have been able to keep him. Now they will only throw paltry offers our way and we're well within our rights to refuse them :D
