Rev Algenon Stickleback H
rg6royal Apparently people don't like him because he's Jewish....

The Israel media apparently made a fair bit of claiming his lack of popularity was probably down to anti-semitism. It'll be interesting to see how they report the reaction to his sacking.

I very much doubt it had anything to do with it....That's just the media for you. Who is favourite to be next in charge at The Bridge then?

I reckon Peter Andre and Chelsea would be the perfect match.

Next chelsea manager ... not sure, but it will have to be someone who is quite easily hate-able, a dislikeable character, one who likes to make a big "song and dance" about everything. Should fit in with the vast majority of Chelsea fans then.

Kes No Geeks standing in car parking spaces.

You don't remember when the special one left then? 20 retards, a couple of potato print banners and sky sports news, w*nking themselves off.

Didn't work mind, you got Avram. That almost worked. Apart from the coming second all the time.

Anyway Sven's going to be available.

no, it's got to be Peter André.

Thick as pigshit, nouveau riche, plastic, unlikeable and not very good.

Plus Jordan could do the marketing.

Get in.

Thought at the time that Grant throwing his runners up medal in crowd was an interesting gesture. Also i think that Grant would have gone irrespective of the CL result.

Okay, I'll do it.

The plus for André is that he's used to dealing with collossal tits day in, day out.

Grant was nothing more than a footballing equivalent to a planes auto pilot. Same formation, same players and same grinding out of results. He signed Anelka then bottled it about playing 442 and used him as a winger. As for him being a nice guy, would this be the same Avram Grant that's been trying to play mind games for the past month and failed miserably?

Chelsea have done the right thing. Could they trust him to spend £100m and rebuild that side? I don't think so.

Its a shame that the likes of Mark Hughes and David Moyes who do fantastic jobs at less fashionable clubs don't even get mentioned when the manager's job at a top 4 club is on offer.

Is that why Hughes is one of the favourites to take over?

Personally I'd love Hughsy at the Bridge.

Is he? My bad, all I've seen is the usual Eriksson, Hiddink, Rijkaard etc type names banded around. I gree with you that Hughes would be a good choice. Not sure he'd want to work in that environment though.

Looking at the names thrown around to replace Grant, no one really stands out. It makes the sacking of Mourinho all the more amazing.

Whoever takes over will have to rebuild the team, play attacking football and finish above a superb Man Utd side. It's almost an impossible task.
