STAR AGM and Fans Forum

by STAR Voice » 13 Aug 2008 23:28

The STAR AGM and Fans' Forum will be held on Thursday 28th August in the Princess Suite at the MadStad.

The AGM will start at 8 pm and will be followed by the Fans' Forum which will start at approximately 8.30 pm.

Answering STAR members' questions will be either Steve Coppell or Nicky Hammond - as it's the day before the transfer window closes it's difficult for the club to commit who will be available that day, but we will have at least one of the two - or maybe both!

If you have any questions please send them to us by e-mail to info@star-reading.org

Entry is free to STAR members.

We'll also be presenting the winners of our prediction competition with their prizes - first prize is a very nice cheque for £488.25 and a total prize fund of nearly £700. If you'd like to enter this years' competition, the deadline for entries is the 1st of September - entry forms are on the STAR website

Don't forget that this Fans' Forum is actually a day or two after the Luton match.

Also please note that any questions posted on Hobnob are very unlikely to get asked on the night - priority will be given to people who e-mail or turn up on the night to ask in person.

STAR Campaigns as it's the day before the transfer window closes it's difficult for the club to commit who will be available that day

because they don't know which players will still be at the club?

or is this some thought by the club that if performances don't pick up coppell and hammond are worried they'll get lynched so they can make out there is neither are available as we are desperately trying to sign someone, honest

Given the nature of our transfer policy why is anyone concerned that Coppell or Hammond might be missing?

If both or either is missing then weybridgewanderer is spot on with the reason.

Steve is confirmed and Nick still hopes to make it but might not!

Make of that what you will - or better still come along and ask the question yourself.
