The orange must be confusing for shortsighted referees. Could get our team muddled up with stewards.

Well, one thought that Kingsley was a player.

Erm, isn't it correct to think that we've only worn this once in the league?

I thought this. We wore the hoops at Forest, and Berkshire said that we wore the orange at Charlton, but I was there and don't remember that :? and anyway with their kit being red why would we? We haven't yet worn our full home kit (blue/white hoops, white shorts) away, as the shorts colour can't clash either and with Forest and Charlton both having white shorts we've reverted to the blue shorts... maybe that's it?

Better to copy QPR. They seem to show far more "hoops awareness" than Reading.

Shame we didn't have this kit when Kitson was here. That would have really pissed him off!! (Dave will I score a goal for Stoke Kitson)

I'm not fond of it. Since when were we a Prod team?

Am I imagining things, or did we once have a horrible red away kit with white triangles? Even that was slightly better than the chocolate orange combo.

New QPR badge is awful, yes, but their old one was a design classic and so much better than our bland mess.

Chuckle Brother
Norfolk Royal It's a good point someone made earlier. We are actually allowed to wear our home kit away from home because of The Queen apparently.

Did she say so ?
Yes, apparantley because we represent the Royal County we have been bestowed the right to wear our home kit everywhere.

Preston North End also had this right because they were the first ever football league winner.

Ironically, Reading also qualify to wear their home kit for every game in the Championship though winning the league with 106 points, previously Sunderland held this right.

Thankfully the Preston, Sunderland and Reading don't have kits that clash.

The reigning FA Cup winners also have this right but only for FA Cup games.

They should certainly stop selling XXXL size replicas and to people over 30. The colour does no favours at all to the many away supporters in those categories

Since when did Blackpool have an "away" orange kit? I mean it would be mighty close in colour to their home tangerine shirt, I thought the idea was to make them as different as possible!
