The first half performance is one of the best I've seen at the Mad Stad, there was some fantastic close passing and skill with SHunt in particular on fire. I like the almost telepathic team that Doyle and NHunt are forging, and they both seem to be really enjoying it.

LoyalRoyalFan Good intresting first half. Dull second.

May I be the first to record tht I'm gald that the boys took their foot off the pedal in the 2nd half. Save it for Tuesday, lads.

I completely agree. I was galled as well. However, watch the spelling old boy.

I have to say, putting aside another amazing home peformance, the support again was sensational.

We seem to have discovered what is commonly known as passion, and about time too!

Plus it's always nice to rile up the Welsh.

Dirk Gently That burst of magic midway through the first-half reminded me of some moments from 05/06 - when we were so far better than the other team and it was only a matter of time before we scored.

Indeed.

Thankfully, we're all too polite to start singing "we're just too good for you", but I thought it a couple of times.

Sheff Wed & Swansea will be in mid-table mediocrity come the end of the season, yet we thrashed them. One would expect to thrash the bottom-of-the-table club, the resident whipping boys, but not the normal/average lot.

Still, we need to take this form away from home. Roll on Tuesday...

Totally agree. Big game indeed. How sweet it would be to go there and win on their doorstep, especially when they're 'expecting' to win every game at the moment.

Coppell will have been a strong influence on a lack lustre 2nd half ...

Job done, Wolves on Tuesday, back off the pace, no injuries, let them have the ball, give the defence some practice for Tuesday

Good choice of tactics I say

south east corner sounded loud, but the swans were louder
i give up singing anything other than blarmy in the north east corner though, its soul destroying trying to sing up there

Yep, i agree with you Brendy, polite handclapping up in the north. i so have to stifle my away game attitude. I have to agree that the support for the team does seem generally more uplifting this season. More expectation perhaps? I think last season we were mentally battered with the tesnsion of just hopeing for a draw.

Can someone please put up some player ratings so we can argue about that instead? Thanks.

Disgusting attitude Brendy. How can you possibly not type in bold italic. I think you need to reevaluate your view of the game.

Having seen the highlights on Virgin it bore a lot of similarities to the style where we just ran at people, pumped balls into the box and had shot after shot. That style of football leaves the opposition bewildered and all at sea. Anyone of those goals could have been saved or prevented with better defending IMO. But we go so hard and with such iron confidence that the other team just doesn't know what to do and defends a little like headless chicken. Almost having mentally already conceeded goals.

Ian Royal Almost having mentally already conceeded goals.

A bit like the goal against watford. It must have been mental, because it wasnt physically a goal.
