facaldaqui The fact that Cureton is known here will be an advantage to us. Brilliant though he was sometimes, he was very much a player that could be cut out of the game. A tactic of cutting his supplies should work: I remember how many times I was frustrated by the fact that he, and sometimes he and Butler, were left isolated due to opposition tactics.

howser Welcome back home Curo, hope he gets a run out, absolute legend, great goal scorer for us and I have no doubt whatsoever that he will be given a great reception by the Mad Stad crowd, after all he hasn't done anything not to get one ! loved the guy when he was here and he will always be a special part in the Reading climb to the Premiership.

and thanks agreed there would be nice to see a screamer
last one we had was mareks against liverpool
what a goal that was
Speak (type) English man! Other than that, exceptional post.
Curo was the last player I remember who liked a long shot. Everyone else seems reluctant and passes to the wings. To be fair it normally works, but is a bit boring. Everyone likes a screamer now and again. Shoooooooooooooooot!

Agreed we no hes dangerous thorhroyal He has true quality in the box and if we give him a chance he'll bury it. I won't forget his goal at Brentford. Everyone goes on about the importance, but what quality. Control a ball that came flying over his should before dinking it over the keeper with his second touch before it even touched the floor, under pressure from defenders.
He's not got any pace nowadays, he's useless in the air but if he gets the ball in the right areas that's what he's capable of and we have to be wary of him.
I hope we give him a good reception.

Whenever I see that goal on video I still feel an instant's anxiety that the defenders are going to get back in time to kick it away. But it was timed so beautifully and I still love seeing it drop safely in!
