I know it was a joke of a cup. But I still think we should proudly reply with something about winning the Simod cup. It was a big achievement for us and just because it no longer exists and half the fans around these days have never heard of it, doesn't mean we didn't win it.

Saying we've never won anything is just plain wrong. We have and we should shout about it.

Slightly Hungover Always makes me smile when opposition fans sing this at us given that it's a double negative so, in fact, they are implying we've won lots of things.

Despite wracking my brains, I've yet to think of a witty reply though. Can't imagine singing 'That's a double negative...' to have much of an impact. Any ideas?

Normally opposing fans are reduced to singing that when we're currently in a considerably better position than them both on and off the pitch. That's normally satisfying enough for me.

Except its clear from reading this board, that RFC fans, for the most part, have absolutely no idea of self-deprecating and are eternally wound up about how 'bigger' clubs see them.

The division 2 title is a nice addition to our bare honours list but in the grand scheme of things it's not a 'major' trophy.
