Thomas L'Heureux
Skin Mine might be succesful, depends if I can convince Laddies that I meant the Swindon part of my treble not the Stockport part.
Good heads up on Rochdale Tredds

What did you go for in the end? There was only one goal in the Stockport v MK Dons game.

On my slip I wrote:

Stockport v Swindon over 2.5 goals (this game didn't exist VOID)
Forest Green v Histon over 2.5 goals won 4/5
Rochdale won EVS

Did a treble and collected as a double.

I am a changed man tee hee.

Thanks for comments - not that i am superstitous but i think i will go to the traditional bookmakers for the next few bets. Cash comes in handy though but might throw it into a single bet if i see a good one coming up this weekend.

I wondered whether you'd slipped on the ice on the way to the bookies last night and hadn't been able to place the bet

Lovely stuff, a further £45.88 up to add to my £105.48 profit of yesterday, meaning I've had a successful mid-week.

Fair play, I couldn't pick anything with great conidence tonight, so spunked £5 on my shit double in the end.

Tredder. Did you stick with the one bet? You going to buy some new slippers?

I stuck an unadventurous single on Livs / Evs unders.

I was hoping to do something tonight with the Sultana match featuring Burton Albs vs Rushden Town & Irthlingborough Diamonds FC. However, I think with the weather the way it is there's feck all chance of a full programme over the next few days, so it's morally OK to have tied up some of my bank by laying West Indies in the 1st Test.

Yep, no other bets, truly didn't fancy anything else, i know it's after the event and all that, but i did think Derby at 11/5 were worth a squirt.

I'll shove my weekend bets up already.

Swansea at 2.24 on Betfair, single win.

Wigan at 2.1 on Betfair, single win

MK Dons and Posh on a fixed odds coupon in a double.

Nothing else for me.

Good bets, but no accies for me this weekend, too much chance of a postponement to wreck all of my careful planning.

My unasked-for advice is pick one single result you fancy from the top two divisions, or top divisions in Europe, and lump on.

Thinking of a Lucky 31 tommorow:

Man City 1.62 Widely Available (Not so much a value bet, but Boro are terrible and City pick up the majority of their points at home)
Blackburn Draw Aston Villa 3.4 Totesport (Villa not looking too hot right at the moment, Blackburn yet to lose under Allardyce, could see it being a score draw)
Wigan 2.0 Widely Available (Again, heavily tipped to beat Fulham, have too much quality and Fulham's lack of wins away from home always seems to be a problem. Coupled with Wigan gaining some form against two top four sides)
Swansea 2.1 Widely Available (Very strong at home, really kicking on atm and are one of the toughest sides to beat at home in the Championship.)
Bristol City 3.0 B365 and Ladbrokes (Unbeaten sine before Christmas in the league, Maynard coming back, and I think Norwich will start to lose New Manager Syndrome quite soon as well.)

Assuming all go ahead:

Chelsea, Man City, Man Utd, Liverpool - £3 for £15.23
Brum, Reading, Sheff U, Swansea - £3 for £31.52
Leicester, Scunthorpe off, Bury, Gillingham - £3 for £29.96

Wishful thinking but I've gone for Burnley to beat Brum, Wolves to draw at Coventry and a Reading win.

Didn't really fancy the big wager today, so kept the stakes small.

I stuck a straight-forward tenner on a double of Man City and Swansea, which came in pretty trouble-free for £33.60 in total.

However, I also put a further £10 on a fourfold of Hoffenheim, Anderlecht, AZ Alkmaar, and AC Milan. Whilst most of the selections are still undecided, Hoffenheim only managed a score draw at bottom club Borussia Monchengladbach, so it failed at the first hurdle.

£13.60 up for the day, but I'm happy enough with that really as nothing jumped out at me this weekend.

EDIT: A La Liga double of Barcelona and Villarreal looks tempting for tomorrow at first glance, whilst my beloved Deportivo at 7/4 away at Mallorca might be worth considering in an away double with FC Twente at struggling De Graafschap. I'll have a proper look tomorrow though.

Poyet - £2 @ 220

Koeman - £3.37 @ 140

Di Matteo - £2 @ 100

Van Basten - £3 @ 100
