Henry's hardly setting the world alight at Millwall. One good goal doesn't make a summer, if I can mix my clichés.

It would be interesting to see a Reading team set up without wingers...

And Norwich

He didnt pretty well in the cup too dont forget

He hasnt been outstanding no, but he has probably been as consistent as Kebe but just hasnt had the same number of chances to impress

The thing with Henry is he looks like a player who can control, pass, cross and shoot. If he had been on the end of the Kebe chance in the first two minutes I would have expected him to take it

Sure he has weaknesses but I would rather see him on the end of a chance or in a position to put Doyle in if it was a make or break moment in the play off final

Quite happy for him to be criticised, but just pointing out the flaws in that criticism from what i have seen of him over the last few years

He isnt the greatest at defending and he has seemed a little overawed at times in the first team, and he is a bit of a cocky little so and so, but from the performances Kebe has been putting in of late he cant do a lot worse

Isn't the problem that we need a lot better, and is there evidence that Henry fits the job description?

About time Coppell started telling the truth about the team and the players performances just like Mick McCarthy post match comments about the Plymouth game:

"We were hopeless, let's cut to the quick, the way we played we were hopeless and we didn't deserve anything from the game.

"I could be talking about penalty decisions, the scramble at the end - but the reality is we didn't deserve to win and Plymouth did.

"We gave them a goal, let them sit back and we didn't play well."

Could you imagine it" Kebe and S. Hunt were hopeless providing no service for the striker to score from for the fourth game running"!!

I work in south london so know plenty of Millwall fans. Everyone I talk to think he is a great signing for them. He has had two man of the match games so far and the lads at 'wall are hoping that his loan deal is extended until the end of season. I would like to see the lad back and given a fair crack of the whip, not just 2 or 3 games. Perhaps he will be a better placed now he has a run of games under his belt.

Henry's absence is yet more depressing evidence that our manager still hasn't learned from the costly mistakes that led to relegation.

I'm still a fan of Kebe's and think he could yet be a star in the Prem but, the plain fact is that he and Hunt aren't working right now.

Whilst few fans seem prepared to make allowances for the concerted efforts being made by most opponents to stifle this aspect of our play, Coppell's removal of one his major alternatives in this regard is even more short sited.

Given both Henry and Karacan being sidelined despite impressive displays earlier in the campaign, not to mention our best defender (Bikey) still being under valued by his manager, this means one thing to me.

When team selection has more to do with misplaced loyalty/favoritism, it's time to thank the current manager for any past success and move on..................so, thanks a bunch, Steve, but the party's almost over.

So, fans stand in a car parking space, begging for Coppell to stay, but later on in the season, when things haven't been going for us (as inevitably they wouldn't have all season), everyone pretty much asks for his head?

I don't care what he says, so long as I see an improvement.

I saw an improvement in the first half. It was a team which was mostly great to watch.

There is absolutely no pressure on Kebe and Hunt at the moment. They know they're guaranteed to start week in week out. Similarly with Rosenior and Armstrong. But he'll insist on these 4 being the nucleaus of the side.

We were all familier with the "too loyal" of comments last season when we unexplicably surrendered our premiership place, and here we are going down the same route now, many times we have read that SSC is happy with his squad, so why the reluctance to change things when we are struggling, as we have been since before christmas, no confidence in the "fringe" players if so then we should have added in January, the only genuine player we did sign, Tabb regular championship player, captain of his previous side, yet we only see him off the bench yesterday and he has been here some 6 weeks now, are the management going to fail in seeing the obvious as they did last season ??, the majority of the paying fans can see we are struggling with opposition formations. During the close season the owner made the statement that we are happy in the championship for the time being, and it seems that his core statement is getting through to the playing side now.
