StrandedDirk GentlySLAMMED Maybe this thread deserves digging back up?
In which case, can it be noted by all that I was saying in the middle of October that this'll be SC's last season?
You may be right but SC has said recently that he's happy to stay at the club but won't discuss any contract until the season is up.

Scarface We're not going up, so it's season over for me.
Just like last year the players simply aren't performing like they're desperate to go up. We witnessed the same sort of abject displays last season, when apparently we were in a relegation dog fight. I'm not sure if this is the manager's fault or whether the team lack bottle or leaders. Seeing as the manager is the same as are the core of players, I make the assumption all the above are true.
I'm won't be attending anymore games.

I think there is a question mark over the team's mental strength. The prize hoves into sight and they proceed to freeze - legs become heavy, passes go astray, there's hesitation in front of goal. But to abandon them now? Crazy! Especially as a tiny bit of pressure has come off due to dropping to fourth. Maybe that will herald a bit more freedom and the 'shock' win we need. You could regret staying away.

What's the point of watching a slow death. I did it last season and have no intention of doing it again. And this time I won't bother renewing until I know Coppell has walked.

LOL, not that any of you fools have been hypnotised by Coppell. I'm sick of this '5th successful season' nonsense - shouldn't the club always be striving to have its best season ever rather than saying 'oh it's ok, we've been worse than this before so this'll do'? I bet Hull wouldn't have been delighted at finishing bottom because it would have been their most successful season for so many years.

Sarah Star It's all about being a glass half full or a glass half empty person
Glass half empty - We've only won 2 out of our last 11 games
Glass half full - We only conceeded 3 out of our last 11 games
Glass half empty - we're in 4th position, oh no, it's playoffs for sure!
Glass half full - we're in 4th position in the table, if we don't make automatic promotion, play offs will mean we can go to Wembley
Glass half empty - we haven't won at home since January
Glass half full - we're due a win at home
There's more...
