I don't want to get into the middle of the obligatory daily argument between Sun Tzu and you/Schards, but while they might not spontaneously read this thread they might be directed to it by someone and read it then.

Royal Lady Sun Tzu suggested that the club would read this thread and do something, nothing about someone complaining.

Indeed.

Do you have a problem with the concept ?

Sun Tzu If you can get tickets with a lower points total can I suggest you keep it to yourself rather than posting on here.

You are quite likely to find your tickets cancelled as the club do keep tabs on threads like this !!

I was referring to this part.

THE END.

Fine, I'll make no apology for tipping the wink to fellow fans.

I'll leave the pointless follow ups to others.

Royal Lady As a matter of interest, how do the club know who we are from our user names? Even moderators don't have access to that sort of information.

They don't. But they could look at all the tickets sold, and see which people have bought them.

Jobbo, done mate.

Oh yeah! I suspect they're struggling to cope with the demands of handling the process in such a short time as it is, without going through and checking everything!

Could have sworn that, in the past, old chameleon username told us that the club don't bother with HNA and/or haven't got time to look at it. Perhaps they've taken some more staff to help them out or maybe someone just tips them off! Now I wonder who their insider might be!

Thing is, even if those who have struck lucky now change their initial postings beyond recognition, at least one other person has referred to what they initially said, thus ensuring the issue remains public.

If it's the booking system that is at fault then the club would have a bloody cheek cancelling tickets. I'd say the same principle applies to goods mis-priced in shops - they are sold at the lowest price.

TBH, I'm sure the ticket office staff are busy enough as it is without chasing around looking for people who may have bought with fewer points than they should have.

Hence the suggestion that actually drawing attention to a specific issue might be a bit risky....

It's hardly a big management task to pull off a report listing purchasers with less than 900 points if someone has told you people have managed to do it.....

Depends on the TO terms and conditions really. I know there have been situations where they have taken online bookings and then cancelled them for various breaches. Not sure that would apply here but again, I'd rather give people a gentle nudge than join the 'it will never happen' camp. I really can't see what motivates some people to even bother posting on a thread sometimes.....

Indeed, absolutely nil chance of either.

Well done on an utterly pointless post - presumably from an original idea by the missus ?

Only I seem to remember that in the past when it was suggested various reports were pulled off to facilitate fairer distribution of high demand tickets, we were told it wasn't quite that easy. Or maybe the system has been improved, in which case why the loophole at all?

IIRC it's a whole new system this season, or at least a much upgraded one. ! No idea what was claimed to not be easy, but because one vaguely remembered possible solution to a perceived problem might have been thought to not be easy it doesn't mean nothing is possible.

You'd imagine the loophole is a configuration issue rather than the system simply not working, although for months it was impossible to check Royalty points on line and you do wonder whether there is a connection here. You'd hope not...

Dirk Gently
Royal Lady
Sun Tzu Precisely, the system will have reports which can list tickets sold to people in a variety of circumstances
Who actually posts on HNA makes no odds, they wouldn't do anything just becasue you'd posted on here, but because you had got tickets you shouldn't have.

But to be honest it's their fault if the system allowed people to buy so if they tried to block my tickets in the circumstances I would be pretty upset. I'd still advise people to avoid advertising any stoke of good luck for the time being.

So, they read this board, decide to run a list of people who have got tickets who haven't got the right number of points and then remove their tickets and tell them they have to buy them tomorrow when they do have enough points? Or whatever? :|

If someone complained to them they'd be duty bound to look into it and take action.

But how do they prove Mrs A Smith is Royal Lady? You can't just make the decision because the odds are quite high it's them. :|

Wembley we'd get pretty much 50% of the available seats (so take out the Club Wembley seats). Unlike the FA Cup they actually give most tickets to the teams taking part.

In past playoffs you were able to specify which price band you wanted but not much beyond that IIRC. Certainly couldn't ask for particular seats.

Probably not unless we sell a low amount.
