For me this video suggests that Kebe has suffered a post Christmas slump just like the rest of the squad.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uej7zGNQB9g

His effectiveness at times in this season is apparent with the amount of assists he's responsible for. It just seems that as the entire team has lost form he's one of the players being singled out the most.

Can't believe he's still in the country. I'd love to know what inspired the signing of him I really would. Is it another Mass Saar "signed from a video" special??

he still created havoc on a couple of occasions, and still looks like the only player we have who can create out of nowt
but no end product again, so i find it difficult to argue with hugos well reasoned post

Can any of our other wingers beat their man as frequently as Kebe does? No.
Are any of our other wingers supplying the forwards with good crosses at the moment? No.

So frustrating though he may be, what better options do we have? Shunt can't beat his man or put in a decent cross (post Christmas) and Little is only half fit. Henry (IMO) should be in 16, but he's out on loan. Whether we agree with that decision or not, he won't play on Tuesday.

We need to get behind the Kebe because moaning and shouting abuse every time he loses the ball isn't going to help - as was the case at Burnley on Saturday. He was getting lambasted for not chasing after passes that Usain Bolt couldn't have got near!

And who knows - maybe, just maybe, he might skin their full back and finally find someone's feet/head for the goal that takes us to Wembley.

whenever something is going wrong kebe is the easy target to pick out. Yes he does make alot of mistakes but that is because he tries things which others don't. If he wasn't in the side then we wouldnt have scored half the goals we have scored this season face it. He has all the attributes to be a good player but just lacks that final ball and wareness. First realised his potential when he came on for his debut against Everton last season. Went on a run where he just walked through their defence, but then his shot was saved.

Bill Oddie's Beard I can't believe how much stick he's been getting after only starting one game for us!! I've not seen much of him, but it sounds like he's had a great pre-season and I'm definitely up for giving him a chance. After all, Harps did say he could be the next Thierry Henry
Come on Jimmy!!

Did Harps really say that???

Kebe is the easy target because he is shit

Recently he hasnt even tried to do anything too clever, he hasnt even got the bottle to take his man on half the time, and when he finally gets himself into a good position he just cocks it up

Thats why people have been having a go at him

This thread is becoming ridiculous. Yes his final ball often leaves much to be desired, but at least he gets in positions where he is able to oxf*rd up, unlike our other 2 'wingers', who are either obsessed with running straight at the defender head down, or too slow to hit the byline before next christmas. Kebe was our only player other than Marek who looked like he was able to do something with the ball on Saturday.

Just watching the highlights of the 3-1 win against Burnley on the OS. Jimmy made the first two goals. He can do it, so let's give him some big big encouragement tomorrow night.

Not often I agree with your posts Willz but that is spot on.

At least that dozy twonk Rougier chipped in with the odd goal. I can hand on heart say Kebe is the worst Reading player i've ever seen in the hoops.

Quite a few, which is basically the main point of him being in the team as its set up to get the wingers creating chances

I didnt say he hadnt created a reasonable amount of goals, but he has still too many limitations to be anything other than shit
