Oh yes - there a lots of nerves in Lancashire as well today.

After being two minutes from Wembley in the Carling Cup semi-final it would be just like us to blow up and go out tonight.

If we do lose though I sincerely hope you beat the Blunts and their hoofball shite football in the final

My optimism's running on fumes at the moment. I'm only looking forward to my last home game of the season tradition of four pints of Guinness and a fish and chip and Balti pie pre-match supper (you can tell how optimistic I am by the fact that I didn't partake before the Brum game) and to looking forward to three months of idle speculation about new players and management staff.

However, I might start getting nervous if we get an early goal.

Bout 3 hours prolly depending on Birmingham traffic. Never been direct from here to Reading driving before though, usually come on the train, so I can't say for sure. Bit of M6/M42/M40 action today
