Very different players. Lallana is more energetic, comfortable running at people and dropping the shoulder to get a yard or two. Cover different areas of the pitch. If we played a different style he could be more of a replacement for Hunt. He wouldn't play centre-mid.

Agree that he's a very different type of player to Matejovsky, but I could quite easily see him playing as the attacking midfielder in a 4-5-1 as his extra running would allow him to get beyond the ball and support the forward a lot more.

I can see him being a skilful version of Andy Hughes in that respect.
