Royal Lady I'm surprised that the organising committee are having to charge the same for a match day mascot as the club would. £250 is way too steep even for a league game imo.

www.readingfc.co.uk Mascots are requested to wear Reading FC kits. This is not included in the package

cROFLedit cROFLunch  I for one am delighted that the £6.5 million pocketed for Doyle is not spent on trifling matters such as free replica shirts for children.

I know one of the people who is organising the testimonial, who told me Wolves are refusing to let either play. Apparently they will bot be there, but neither will play.

Will Rodgers' treat this as another training exercise or try to win, do you think?

He'll rightly treat it as a testimonial and use it as a low key fitness run out for the whole of the remaining squad he has to choose from

http://www.readingfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10306~1728221,00.html Reading 3 (Murty og pen 34, Robson-Kanu 40, Davies 66)
Murty's '106' team 2 (Murty pen 57, pen 61)

Graeme Murty scored a hat-trick from the spot in a testamonial game full of familiar faces and fun.

The former Royals skipper bizarrely opened his account for the opposing side, when Simon Church was tripped by Nicky Shorey inside the area.

Murty made no mistake from the spot and soon got the chance to prove that again...and again.

Hal Robson-Kanu and Scott Davies got on the scoresheet either side of half time, but this was a night for one man.

And twice more he scored from the penalty spot, the third and final time ending in a mobbing of Kinglsey - rekindling memories of his spotkick in the same goal here against QPR in 2006.

Reading: Federici (Hamer HT); Rosenior (Davies HT), Bertrand (Taylor 55), Cisse (Bikey HT), Pearce (Armstrong HT); Karacan (Mills 55), Sigurdsson (Matejovsky HT), Tabb (Bryant HT (N Hunt 60)); Robson-Kanu (Antonio HT), Henry (Bignall HT), Church (Long HT)
Subs: O Kelly

Murty's '106' team: Hahnemann (Howie 23); Murty, Shorey (Hunter 52), Duberry (Brown HT), Halls (Hateley HT), Gunnarsson (Polston 59), Sidwell (Watson 51), Little (Parkinson 59), Salako (Butler 51); Cureton (Igoe 64), Lita

Good on Murts
Lita plays 90 minutes with no end product - no change there then

Sidwell was the only player from Murtys team who I'd want in my squad.
