Yorkshire Royal ^^ Look at me post..

You can take you 3.5 degrees and stick them up your arse.. 50,000+ words a month and a writing school. What kind of gimp boasts on a football messageboard...?

Although, saying that, I can never be bothered to read your posts the few times I bother coming back here as I have far better things to do like polishing my Aston and stroking my 12 inch cock...

Sounds like like me, you had to get some cut off to make it more manageable.

'lista
Snowball It's not difficult, Big Mike. It involves things like not getting pissed out of my head seven nights a week.

If it matters I also write about 50,000 words a month and run a writing school

As for degrees and such, (3.5 but no PhD) those things only arose when I was challenged in some way.
eg It's a fact I DO know Statistics (not that the stats on here are much) and I did teach stuff like Multiple regression to UNI undergrads
and the fact came out because I was challenged over my knowledge of statistical reasoning
it's nothing to do with modesty or anything else.
If an ex-professional footballer comes on these boards (and I know he is)
then YES I will give more weight to his pronouncements.
Having played professionally is a better qualification than carrying a plastic tree to games.

Amazing, all that talent and still about as popular as a turd in a swimming pool.

Oh LOOK, your avatar is a pussy.

Indeed, no degree or job experience (outside working at a professional football club on the playing/coaching staff) makes anyone on here any more qualified to discuss Reading FC and football in general than anyone else.

What you say is the only thing you should be judged on. I could probably make a pretty good case that my education and work experience makes my views worth quite a lot. But its bullsh1te when it comes down to it, because I don't know what everyone else does and I don't work in football.

Generally my opinion of those who say what they do to back up what they're saying, is that they're idiots, socially inept, or lying.

My job has changed over the years, and currently I'm the leader of the free world. My opinion is the only one that matters so you can all just stop arguing and bow to my knowledge.

Can we win promotion? YES WE CAN!

3.5 degrees - that was the name of the singing group before they ditched the midget. The rest is, of course, history.

Rumour? Surely you'd have to create a new forum for it called "Unfounded b*llocks and outright lies"?

Snowball The Watford site said there'd been two other offers in excess of one million.

Maybe the 1.8 million was Euros?

So about £1.6 milion then? (exchange rate 1Euro = 0.864 GBP).

Mentioning a psychology degree in a discussion about the psychology of (subjective) perception IS relevant.

People believe their eyes way more than they should. People who have studied psychology
or read popular science books on the subject would know that there's a sad truth about
perception and that is (more or less) that we dramatically over-estimate its accuracy.

Magicians and con-men use these human flaws (and erroneous beliefs) against the viewer.

Many managers have learned that to use statistics along with their instincts improves their judgment.

Malcolm Gladwell's book, "Blink" looks at some of these issues and shows why formal measuring systems
are ALWAYS better and more accurate than the rough and ready systems we all use and have too much faith in.

One small example was Rosenior's sending off, I think at Palace. Fact was it was another player that caused
the problem and Rosy was desperately trying to make up for the other player's (Bikey?) mistake.

But it was "dive-in" Rosenior and some simply hate him, so therefore blamed him.

But it still remains that those people who are paid to assess defenders rated him very highly over the season.

Can you imagine what those books are like? I hate an egotistical writer.

By the way, I've a PhD in literature so my opinion wins.

He's different. He posts like a prat at times, but he's interesting and I for one welcome his views on football.

The fact that claims to be a writer etc. etc. etc. wind people up so much is bloody funny. I have no reason to doubt their veracity and don't really care but it's truly enjoyable watching so many posters start frothing at the mouth every time he posts.
