Stoke want Nugent and will pay £4m............he'll choose them over us purely for the fact they are in the Premiership and he's a northern lad.

Be a bit of a PNE reunion what with Cresswell and Fuller already in the land that time forgot.

Perhaps a shed load of late deals will be done in August involving Premiership clubs

Even Shakespeare is quoted in Henry II:

"Will no-one rid me of this turbulent pikey hobbit?"

Probably Hull then, they're desperate for a striker and will buy anyone now

Stoke have enquired about David Nugent, but they wanted a season long loan and not pay the amount Portsmouth are asking for. Newcastle have apparently offered a player swap deal with Pompey, believed to be Alan Smith. No idea about another Premier League club making their interest official yet.
On the subject of Stephen Hunt, there has been interest but no one values him at what we are asking for, and he is, and I quote "miffed". He appears to be his biggest fan.

The thing is he didn't prove his was worth is in the second half of the season so clubs aren't going to spend £4m on him to find out he really isn't that good.....IF he shows in the first month he is worth it, then maybe somebody will snap him up end of August

If he plays.

It's been two whole seasons now Hunt's been wanted but not for the price he values himself at or that we value him at.

tbh I'd take anything over £1m just to shift him.

Personally, I hope that he either:
1. Leaves
2. Rots in the reserves
3. Trips over his ego and suffers a career ending injury
4. Ends up where he belongs - Bradford City

And us end up with nothing at the end?

Am I the only one who finds this attitude puzzling?

Better to get some money for the little troll.

You go too far, sir. I seriously doubt that you are a real Reading fan.

I expect he is, he's just also a tedious idiot.

Please get over SHunt, Terminal Boredom. It's boring and pathetic.

He was at the Dean Windass benefit match apparently.

This might just excite me more than the Mills transfer.

Please elaborate.

And, if you really think that it is possible for someone to physically trip up over something as insubstantial as an ego then you are wasted in whatever it is you are doing.

What is amusing is the speculation that Hull are interested in him. If that one comes off then I will have a permanent smile on my face. Quite frankly, after Saturday's showing, he will not be missed.

You want me to elaborate? Really? Yes? Elaborate?

Ok. A real Reading fan would not wish an injury on any Reading player.
