All sound the same...

... yeah had read that Kim Sainsbury was a Squash Star at SRLC ...

Just found another one too:-

Darren Campbell - still at Fleet Town 09/10 - well he was listed as a squad member at the start of the season - don't think he's featured in the 1st team yet though. Suffered with serious injury - was U19 Captain of Scotland!

westongeezer What happened to Trevor Senior after his management role at Bridgwater Town? and while i remember Scot Taylor to? he was not at Bridgwater though :)i lost touch of him after he went to wolves or leicester cant remeber
He worked in a factory or something for a while, then he went to work as a PE coach in a school (which he still does) and run his own soccer schools locally.

Paultheroyal - does he have a facebook group then?? Probably set up by a Bridport fan, which is why no mention of Reading!!

Not group RL - his personal facegroup page.

LUX This won't help at all, but in 1979, not long after leaving RFC, Gordon was a server in the coffee bar next to Henley station.

FACT.

He owned it. He bought it off my friend's parents in 1978.

When he first introduced himself to them he said something along the lines of "I'm Gordon Cummins", to which they said, "Who?"

LOL - they don't - I'm the only one who sometimes mentions Reading. Anyway, his status the other day said he'd been "catching up with friends in Reading" - but he's not going to mention his time as a footballer on there in reality is he

I've gone off him now.

I suppose Gary Shaw is a shadow of his former self too.

Fleck is a scout at Norwich.
Howie played for Kings Lynn in the Conference North last year.
Gray had a part in that "Damned United" film.
Mcintyre is manager of Dunfermline.

No idea on the others.

Richie Bowman has a couple of sandwich bars in west London. What's Neil Webb up to these days? Is he still local? I know he was selling his England caps and medals at auction.

Royal Lady Last I knew of Michael Barnes he was a courier driver or something like that. But that was years ago.

Used to see Kim Sainsbury frequently around South Reading Leisure Centre where he used to boss the Squash leagues. Not seen him for ages but think he is still local (to Northumberland Avenue that is)

he turned up on radio 2 last month, as a contestant on "popmaster" he did say his claim to fame was he made 1 appearance for Reading
