Ian Royalworking class heroUke Wasn't there a team in the Prem two years ago who all the "experts" said were too good to go down?
Can't remember who it was, Fulham I think, or was it another one?
If it was Fulham then the experts were correct...
I'll give you two clues. It wasn't Fulham and it ended in "g"

strap Very simple Gus. Start playing 4-4-2, drop Kebe and Cummings and replace them with footballers. Keep things really really simple, and with the players we have we should just about stay out of the relegation spots. Then in January Mr mad si going to have to spend a bit more cash on proper, reasoned, buys (NOT panic buys like McAnuff, Rasiak and Mills).
There are two managers currently available who would be able to adopt this rather obvious strategy, SSC and Curbishley. Yes they won't be cheap, but even if they were taken on only until the end of the season, with escape clauses in case a proper football club wanted a manager, we should still avoid relegation.
FFS, I haven't seen the destruction of a football so quick as RFC since Leeds almost went under. Believe me, we arenlt too far off the Leeds scenario if Mr Mad's financial statements are to be believed.

Terminal Boardom Quite frankly, a dog turd would be able to do better.
Go 442. Play with some fire in the belly. Get ugly. Break a few legs. Desperate times call for desperate measures. FFS I would even have Billy Davies as manager. Cut the bullshit. I don't know about comparisons with Leeds Utd. We look more like Bradford City.

VisionDorset-Knob I see Exeter a bit down here and Tisdale is a good prospect, with a team who are enjoyable to watch.
Pardew was underated and missed out on the fruition of a lot of good ground work, (IMHO if he'd got more games after the TB fiasco we could have avoided relegation years ago)
Curbishley knows how many beans make five
Parky, the best man for a relegation struggle, he'd pick up the team and carry it over the finish line!
so for me,
1. Pardew (best option)
2. Curbishley (best high value option)
3. Tisdale, (best budget option)
4. Parky (best sentimental option)
LOL. Have you given up on Holloway already after a couple of defeats?

Cpl Jones Dont panic Well I have spent weeks defending Brenda to all and sundry, but now he must fall on his sword.
But who the hell would take over , with the lack of budget and the crop of players? Have we got the most players out on loan of any other club?
It now seems that we have squeaky bum time and just hope that we can just manage to sneak staying in the league. Maybe then JM and his puppet can do their face saving and admit they cocked up the appointment and the clearance sale.
Mind you before the seasdon started quite a few wanted Ferguson or Keane, quite ironic their teams are actually worse than us.
