The all pale blue home kit under Bentley. It just wasn't Reading. It looked as washed out under floodlights as the football of that period.

The worst was the 1982/83 relegation abortion of a kit manufactured by Osca. The only redeeming feature was the badge. The worst was that we were sponsored by the Chronic(le). I hated it!

The blue and white stripes we had for one year was fine with me.

The red and yellow hoops? Brilliant! As was the red shirt with arrowheads made by Matchwinner.

I do not like this season's home shirt which has to be the second worst I have witnessed.

I was not that keen either on the Patrick shirts of the Branfoot era. Not even the Simod Cup shirt.

The TV interference shirt was fine from a distance. It was only close up that it brought on migraines.

There was hushed silence at the ground as the Brighton chairman realised that the internet vote to decide the clubs next kit and sponsor had perhaps been spiked by Palace fans.
