Ojc Since joining us Rosenior has been decent, his attacking play linking up with Carlos Edwards has been superb. Shame the forwards can't hit a barn door.

Yeah, it's his defending that's shit tho. Have you noticed your poor defence?

Royalee Both Sigurdsson and McAnuff can cross a football, so they're likely to cause Rosenior problems as he's totally incapable of blocking them.

McAnuff is a right winger though. Are we hopeful he'll play on the left then?

And it's all very well crossing a ball, but beating your man repeatedly? :?

He played on the left against the likes of Watford and so on - I actually think he looked more dangerous cutting in, but either way I'm happy as long as he's in the team at the expense of Kebe.

You don't need to beat a full back who stands in completely the wrong position and lets you cross the ball in totally unopposed - what's the point?

I don't think I've ever heard of a "loan deal" where the "loaning" club receives such a large amount of money (i.e. £200k) - I thought loan deals were all about the other club paying the wages. I suppose we didn't want to miss out on him going on a free transfer at the end of the season. :?:

You didn't hear about us paying Stoke for Kitson's loan last January then? Wasn't it supposed to be a 7 figure fee with a view to us paying a further couple of million if we won promotion and completed the permanent signing?

That wasn't a loan fee - that was an apology.

Silver Fox I normally pretty much poopoo Floyd's rants

You know, if there's one thing I've learnt from HNA, it is never ignore a poo-poo. I knew a poster who got poo-pooed, made the mistake of ignoring the poo-poo. He poo-pooed it. Fatal error! Turned out all along that the poster who had poo-pooed him had been poo-pooing a lot of other posters who poo-pooed their poo-poos. In the end we had to disband the message board. Threads totally ruined.....by poo-poo.

So today I've agreed with one of your posts and now I've LOLled at one, whatever next!?!

Season long loans nearly always have a loan fee attached to them. One of the most publicised was Birmigham pay a very large loan fee (£500k) for the aptly named Carlos Costly.

I suspect the Howard/Harper crossover would make for quite interesting reading as well when it comes to the financial niceties.

Maguire That's a bit of a Panini-album view of football though isn't it? I don't he'll be "much more likely to get sent off at all". Not compared to a less capable full-back who will get to tackles more slowly or get caught out of position more. It's not like Rosenior's going to get hulk rage and karate kick Kebe into the East Stand.

All it may take is a few throw-in decisions that don't go his way, like at Swansea last year. Even better if the East stand are on his back....

Maguire Disagree. If he's their first choice right back then clearly whoever is next in line is even more bobbins. It's never a good thing for your oppostion to be able to pick their best players

There's an added benefit that their second choice players won't bring. Rosie will obviously be so motivated and wound up trying to prove something back here, with his dodgy temprament he's much more likely to get sent off.

I'd bloody love to see that happen! (provided Kebe wasn't seriously hurt)

One of their fans said after last nights match that their midfield does not control matches and lacks creativity. Ring any bells????

Harper was doing his usual trick of sitting on the toes of the back four yet failing to defend properly and then not breaking forward when they had the ball, meaning they were outnumbered when they tried to attack - a rather stupid tactic, which is probably why they haven't won in 7 games. We're well shot of him.

Not surprising though is it? He was rushed out of the door pretty damn quickly.

Pushed. Hard.
