juanpablo Rosenior will have either one of our wingers under wraps, the guy is pacey and recovers well even if somebody roasts him first time...

distribution became shocking but if we are looking for him to get done time and time again, I cant see it

This is why I want to see the Sig play on the left - it's when players cut inside that Rosey struggles. It often involves him slipping and/or fouling.

Stick a direct player capable of crossing a football up against Rosenior and he's stuffed.

Can what Rosenior's said be used to motivate our team... if they can get hold of a copy, which I can't?

Liam won't be returning to Royals

LIAM Rosenior today labelled his two years at Reading 'disappointing' and added that his career went backwards.

The 25-year-old defender goes back to the Madejski Stadium tomorrow (kick-off 3pm) hell-bent on earning Ipswich Town three precious Championship points.

He is officially on a season-long loan at Portman Road, but with his Reading contract ending next June he won't be going back to the Royals.

“After relegation from the Premier League we should have gone back up last season,” Rosenior insists.

“We had a squad that was good enough, but we dropped out in the play-offs, so my time there was disappointing.

“I can't say I had two great years there because I didn't.

“My career has gone backwards in the last couple of years and I want to get back to where I want to be, in the top league. I've no plans to go back to Reading.”

Rosenior has enjoyed his time with Ipswich and does not rule out making his move permanent next summer.

But first he wants to see Ipswich move up the table, building on last weekend's win over Derby with three points at his old stamping ground tomorrow.

He added: “I finished fourth last season with Reading and I look at the squad we had there and the squad we've got here and there's not a lot of difference.

“I'd love to stay here longer - I've had a great time.”

Talking about why Reading manager Brendan Rodgers was happy to release a regular member of the side, Rosenior explained: “Financial matters took over.

“I was signed as a Premier League player and my wages were probably a bit higher.

“Maybe people thought I wasn't worth that or maybe they wanted to give younger players a try. I don't know, but I've got no problem with it.

“Ipswich have spent nearly £10 million on players, Reading have sold nearly £10 million.

“That tells you everything you need to know.”

Rosenior has no plans to talk to any of his former team mates prior to tomorrow's game - he just wants to beat them and then socialise.

This determined character said: “A lot of them are good friends but what's the point in speaking to them before the game?

“At the end of the day it's my career. I don't want to pretend I want them to do well, because I don't.

“After the game I'll be friends with them again but before the game I'm not going to talk to them.

It's not important.”

Storm in a teacup.

I'd be more annoyed if I were an Ipswich fan - all that "love the club" stuff when clearly he refused to sign permanently because he believes he'll get into the Premier League on a free in the summer.

The guy really does think he's a Premiership class full back doesn't he?

The guy needs to see a shrink.

If he came from any other family he would be playing non league.

To be fair he's played fast approaching 200 senior league matches, half of which have been in the Premier League and has England Under 21 caps.

He may not be as good as he thinks he is (most footballers aren't) and he may have had an initial leg-up due to his family connections but he'd need to have been better than you're suggesting to have made what he has out of it. Football clubs aren't charities.

He's still better than the specialist right back we currently have and just goes to show how determiend JM was to cut the costs and stuff the consequences.

No doubt Liam'll score tomorrow (and Harper when we go to Bramall Lane as well).

A slight exaggeration that! He's a decent Championship right-back, as no doubt we'll see tomorrow.

He certainly wasn't a decent Championship full back last year. Looked totally out of place in the Premiership. He can't be just his fault but is it really a surprise he's playing for the team bottom of the league?

How many full backs in the league can't actually pass. Can't mark, no positional sense. All he has is pace and to be fair he is a good crosser.

I saw through him after his 1st game, it took most longer but even the biggest RTGs turned on him.

Yet despite all this he is still telling people that he's not gonna sign for Ipswich goes he thinks he should be at a higher level. There's 23 better right backs in the Championship than him.

Oh don't get me wrong, he's bad, but even I wouldn't call him worse than Cummings.....

Tabb's better than him though.

Must admit, that's pretty much how I'd describe a Championship full-back! I love his unintentional self-put-downs. He did one a couple of months ago, something along the lines of "I joined Reading, had to wait a while to get into the first team, then of course we went down." This time we get "But they haven’t won at home since January. That tells you everything you need to know about why they’re in the position they’re in." Yeah, and it it also tells us you were a fixture in that team until the last few games, Liam!

Shame that none of them play for Reading :x

Nothing comments really, but pretty embarrassing for Rosenior considering Ipswich's awful form. You'd think it would be enough to shut anyone up, but apparently not.
