Deathy How far we've dropped.

Surely we've not dropped anywhere given you've droned on for years about how we'll never spend a million on a player !

Yeah, it's a real shitter when you only commit £3.5m to transfer fees in a season. God I wish we were in one of the many many years where we spent more than that.

Look Madejski, surely you have got far more important things to do than hang around on HNA justifying your financial prudence!

There might have been a time when £3.5M would have been a lot for any Championship club, let alone us. Those times have long since gone.

No good talking about Premier League ambition when you sell off all the family silver and replace it with cheap silver plate! Just look at the total value and quality of the players released and compare the same things for the replacements. Too cheap and not enough quality and our position in the league backs that up.

The vast majority, including the manager, appear to accept that our current strike force is not good enough, both in terms of quality and depth. If the Chairman will not make the money available (in terms of fees and wages) to do something about that now, then he can replace PL ambition with League One reality.

getreading A Sunday tabloid linked Rodgers with a move for Huddersfield Town’s Jordan Rhodes and a Reading representative was at their 6-0 drubbing of Wycombe Wanderers at the weekend.

But with Sir John Madejski stating that little money will be available for the January transfer window a move for Rhodes could be out of the question.

YateleyRoyal Watched him a few times at Griffin Park last season, boy lets his head drop when things aren't going well. Not exactly gonna fit right in here is he....

There was a time not so long ago when we would sign anybody who had actually played at Griffin Park.
Unfortunately we let slip the best of them all in Michael Turner but went for Sam Sodje instead.

£3.5 million remains a lot at this level and is still a hell of a lot for us.

Don't care whether you don't like it or not. It's true.
