winchester_royal Hmm, looks as if I've been sold a dummy, or at the very least it was a bit premature.

Happy about that myself, though I'm sure I've upset a few excited knobbers.

Sorry.

As fishing trips go that was quite a poor return. 2/10.

Royal Rother Boring boring. This will all be forgotten come the end of the season when we are mid table.

There are at least 10 worse teams in the division than us...

who, and why after more or less half a season are at least 6 of them above us?

Because we're not quite getting the rub of the green at the moment. All we need is a wee bit of luck in front of goal.

We're going to create a stir in the 2nd half of the season when the fruits of this tough baptism (for management and squad) start to drop.

Just you wait.

RR,
Your bit about "rub of the green" and "wee bit of luck" comes straight out of the Rodgers phrasebook.
Let's just hope that the teams down there with us don't get the rub of the green and the wee bit of luck that struggling teams always complain about.
I'm still bordering on neutral to negative regarding our manager-I just have this fear that he could be an almighty bluffer and I really don't want to be watching Rochdale and Bournemouth next season.

I am quite sure most of the other 10 you are thinking of all believe they just need that we bit of luck that is guoing against them at the moment.
I am also fairly sure they will all think that with a couple of extra players in January they will pull clear

Shouldn't worry, lad, you have absolutely zero credbility anyway so a rumour started by you was - personally speaking, anyway - forgotten within 30 seconds.

...or in my case immediately ignored.

I'd keep the champagne. I still don't think he's that safe.

winchester_royal Rumours going round that BR's on his way out.

Not 100% sure on reliability of source, but could well be true.

Will expand when I know more.

Well, I called it.

It would just be embarrassing if he stayed now...

Although perhaps we'll see him watching his favourite team for pleasure now he's got some free time.

Madstad to Nadderud No Jonny Fordham EP online chat lined up either today, from what i can tell. Not that this means anything in itself of course.

We now we know why Jonny Fordham writes for the Reading Evening Post

At lunchtime today on his online chat he says Rogers will not get sacked and yet he is gone by dinner time

Outstanding journalism!

Would be nice for him to put some money back into the club. We wasted enough on his wages and dogshit signings
