LoyalRoyalFan Just because Reading aren't doing well, doesn't mean you stop supporting them.
rg6royal is right. I have been supporting Reading for a very long time, through the good times and the bad patches.

SteveRoyal How about upping your support for a "second team"?
Having said that... Portsmouth aren't exactly doing any better than Reading.

West Stand Flash All the clown has to do was invest 5-10 million when we finished 7th and we could have become an established premiership side...

RoyalBlue In some ways turning my back on Madejski FC isn't really deserting the team I have supported for the last 40 years. The current set up is becoming as alien to me as MKDons must be to someone who started off supporting Wimbledon.

utter nonsense
the last few years have been the anomaly, we are now back to how the club has been for most of its history

West Stand Flash So getting us to a 7th place finish in the Premier League, then resting on his laurels and not investing in the team when it was blindingly obvious it was required, then allowing us to get relegated, by again not investing in the January transfer window when we were struggling...

So in other words you are saying that the Chairman and the likes of Howe have been lying about what a fantastic club we are- 'the next Arsenal' or something similar I believe were the words that Howe came out with. Even at the start of this season Madejski was spouting shyte about proof of his Premier League ambition.
That aside - how can you describe what I personally feel as being utter nonsense? To me it does seem very much like Madejski FC rather than Reading FC - 'it's my ball and I'm taking it home if you are nasty to me'. And the current set up does feel as alien to me as MKDons must seem to a Wimbledon supporter.
