Baines
tomrfcurz I still think chants / banners on Saturday should help

Agreed. By not investing in the club, Madejski has proved that he's a traitor to everything that RFC stands for.

I have my old Judus stencil handy in case you want to borrow it.

Yeah, a Judus stencil will really ram home the message.

marcusopp Are you retarded?
We are one of only a few financially stable clubs in the league. JM isn't one of these boom-or-bust chairman. He believes a club should be self sufficient, and it should be. Unless you know a wealthy arab who's interested, keep your mouth shut and appreciate what he's done for this club who were smaller than the current wycombe wondershit when he took over.

JM is the worst kind of Chairman, one that used RFC as a vehicle to raise his local profile and achieve his aims. Job done, Hotel and Conference centre etc etc. LMF(fat!)AO at the fact you and many others can't see beyond his spin. And the statement about being financially stable is equally laughable, have you checked the 2 sets of accounts that you need to? RFC Ltd and Holdings Plc?? clearly not!

Just a thought.

How about a petition of STH , from those that will refuse to renew next season , that may show JM and his puppets how relegation will cost the club dear.

Before anyone rants about glory seeker or plastic, I have witness 9 relegations as a STH, but never because of the suicidal actions of a select few.

If he's even thinking about a Virgin/Orange merger, there'll be no change left for us.

Thing is, if you've seen 9 relegations then you've seen at least 8 promotions haven't you? Sounds like a lucky man to me

I've seen two of each. I'd prefer to get a promotion in next, but if it's a relegation, nevermind.

Grandpa Simpson I've seen 17 relegations of which 24 were the direct result of Madejski's tight-fistedness. Of course for most of them we couldn't use the word "relegation" as the Kaiser had stolen the letter "l".

Whilst URZ appear to be in the kind of state that SRB usually looks for (i.e. poor mgt but half decent infrastructure (although yours infrastructure is actually very good)) I would think that, if he is looking at a football club, then it would be one with a larger fan base. LOLiverpooLOL may be more his type to and the marketing opps here would be endless. He'd also be looking at a 50/50 JV, probably with someone with the $ to invest (gamble) whilst his guys run the show.

On the other hand, he may not be considering footy investments at all on the basis that many of his Virgin customers would defect in line with the McEwans Glasgow Rangers saga.
