This is just Stoke trying to get payback for Sonko and Kitson... I'm surprised they are still talking to us...

On a serious note, he ain't that bad... Probably a better RB than we currently have.

Experienced, determined, knows the position, a leader...and yet the HNA moaners are still out in force.

He made 20 appearances for Stoke in the Premiershp last season, in fact he was a regular until the bust up with Fuller.

He is certainly good enough for a team in the bottom half of the Championhsip and will be another good experienced defender to have in the team with Ingimarsson. It will the right winger more freedom knowing that he has a steady, reliable right back behind him.

Agreed. To be perfectly honest, we should be grateful if he comes to us - he's far better than what we have, and would be an asset to a few teams at the top end of the table.

Having been chief scout and res team manager I think McD should have a pretty good portfolio on other clubs' fringe players so I'm willing to accept his judgement.

Almost a done deal. As long as he fancies a move down south...

Its interesting that SKKD says we also tried to get him in the summer when we lost Rosenoir

That would explain the Cummings signing as a last minute backup perhaps

Agreed, beggars can't be choosers, he should do a good job for us in a position where we are crying out for an experienced player.

Ian Royal
No Fixed Abode Peter Griffin is better.

Andy Griffin is a bit like Murty, will give it 110% but stil not very good.

Well given Murty is the best right back I've ever seen play for us and he only really got torn a new arsehole by Ronaldo in the Prem, I'll settle for that!

a scenario i would have liked....... saints wanted antonio for the rest of the season.how about if we,d said astrait swap for murty to come back as a player/coach?

Solid, but nothing spectacular. Slow, but has a lot of experiance. Should be a decent signing just to tighten up the defence to make sure we don't end up going down.

An interesting fact for you all, he has scored against Juventus in the Champions League for Newcastle.

Got to be a better bet than Cummings or Kelly. Saying that, I'd be a better bet than both of them.
