Toon Toon Blue army lot of experience. would be a decent signing just to tighten up the defence

Any team at the bottom relying on Alex pearce is going to get relegated.

Having seen a picture of him now I recall him being more of a centreback for Stoke... Not one of ther full backs, even if he can play there....

Griffin is a right back/left back.

Dunno if he's played centre half. Certainly not for Stoke anyways.

Definitely a solid signing and just what we need in the circumstances. Hope it goes through.

Other way round-very much a full-back who was very highly rated in his younger days.

Hmm, well I don't think he's one of the very promising looking fullbacks I remember from their promotion season...

Thats because he didn't play for Stoke then. He was @ Derby and played 13 times. Last season he started 17 games in Premier League.

For me, this is as clear a no-brainer as any I have seen.

You really think that he would not be better than what we currently have?

Another example of BMcD knowing the game and what we need to get us out of the mess we're in.

He did play the promotion season, was on loan 2nd half.

Ian is thinking of Wilkinson and Dickinson who were in and out of the team. Dickinson is now at Barnsley on loan....
