Mr. Reading I was that dick! The reason for the particulars being noted was that a different steward accused me of "assault" for tapping him on the shoulder in jest. Ridiculous heavy-handed stewarding was the provocation, as well as the first steward coming up to me swearing in my face.

I gave as good as I got, and it ended with a different steward needlessly attacking someone a couple of rows in front for attempting to photograph him. I challenge anyone to act any differently; in fact I believe I did well not to nut the o*ford in the face after he asked me if I wanted to "o*ford start summin wit me".

I can't believe it didn't kick off, you were provoking him like nothing i've seen before, V signs and several actions implying a headbutt were offered lol

Same here - was really surprised that only one bloke was hauled out - a bloke who, from where I was standing, didn't seem to actually do anything to warrant getting thrown out.

The one good thing about all of the steward malarkey was it seemed to rouse the crowd into getting behind the team. Other than that, it seemed to be handbags at six paces

Royal With Cheese Good to see a manager that can turn a team round and get them doing the right things at the break. Unlike Rodgers. If he was still in charge that would have been 6 or 7-0.

I cant remember at what point it was but Rodgers did start to sort out the second half showings as I distinctly recall having the conversation about it a few times in at home games

I would rather we didnt it so bad in the first half having had a week to prepare for a game though

I certainly wish I had managed to provoke him; I was amazed it didn't kick off either but I knew I needed HIM to be the one to start it in order to get his sorry ass sacked!

As for the guy who was assaulted by the other steward, that was completely UNprovoked, and I'm sure an official complaint will be made by whoever that was who was attacked.

One other thing I noticed - their ball boys are possibly the most lethargic I've ever seen at a football match. The bloke in front of us - christened "Chesney from Corrie" - seemed to be in his own little world whenever he ball came near him

That would have been after the Scunthorpe game.

This was , Im sure , a deliberate tactic used by the oxf*rd .They have to be instructed to act that way when Forest are leading. They were all fat lazy.idle tossas probably the sons of the pig ignorant set of stewards in our end
The time wasting was disgusting throughout same as they did at our place. Not a bad team but very bad attitude and tactics.

Yes I agree with this. They have been the worst team I have seen in a long time using such blatant time-wasting tactics. Hope they don't go up.

Shame about the result, just miserable about the behaviour of the Reading fans really. Why cant we respect the fact the stewards have a job to do :?: No, we've all seen Green Street and have to act like twats

disgraceful behaviour by the Wheres Wally lookalike and some disgusting chants from those around him

We need less of these sorts at football tbh
