papereyes Was the Arsenal Spurs one a few years back 5-4 or 6-4 at the end?

Wasn't that 4-4?

There was a Champions League game a few years back (Deportivo v Monaco rings a bell) which finished 7-4 or something - maybe that was televised by Sky via the red button...

EDIT - it was Moncao 8 Deportivo 3 http://www.soccerbase.com/results3.sd?gameid=407536

I was at Villa Park last night, couldn't quite believe what I was seeing.

Villa were shocking for the first 20 mins, truly appalling, the penalty/sending off naturally changed the game. Fair play to the Blackburn players though, even if Fat Sam is a complete moaning pcunt they didn't once drop their heads and kept on going at it - their overhead kick goal was excellent.

Cracking game in terms of goals (defending not great..) and 5 English scorers in one game.

Won't get that very often from Premiership teams nowdays.

Be nice to see somebody other the the usual "top 4" win something.

It'd be nice to see James Milner turn into WC 2010's David Platt.

Like Spurs & Pompey in 2008 - gives other sides something to play for.

TBM Why do people pretend not to watch or take any interest in the Premier League  do they think it makes them look like a super cool "real" football fan?

In my case it's because I don't actually give that much of a toss about it. I'm interested in my team and have only a vague passing interest in the rest of football unless it directly affects my team.

Not too hard to understand surely? :| Even for you TBM...

you've just sat through 90mins of a game that has no interest to "your team" and you expect me to believe that.

You and spacey would get on well

Because I found it flicking channels when I had nothing better to do you mong. I haven't watched MOTD more than about 5 times in the last two years. I barely ever watch a live game on TV unless it's got Reading in.

I don't care if you believe it or not. I'm not trying to score points, just being honest.

I watch football all the time.

I watched the end of Freiburg-Stuttgart earlier.

I'll never stoop to SPLOL though.
