And a left back.

Why do we need another loan left back when we've got Bertrand? :|

He was trying to say that you left the left back off your list you idiot.

Seems an excellent loan signing to me,can play virtually anywhere!! Brian Macca seems to identify a weakness and get a decent signing albeit on loan to plug the gap. I `m well happy with this. Just out of interest what posistion did he play for Newcastle earlier this season? Was it left back?

Smoking Kills Dancing Doe Just a left winger now and the squad looks decent on paper.

Unfortunately, they play on grass.

Perhaps I should have made myself more clearer and said this transfer window.

Decent addition this one.

Not the greatest but from what I remember he's a good aggressive defender and someone who doesn't make too many mistakes. This is just what we need to toughen us up and bit and add a bit of experience and hardiness for the undoutbed relegation battle infront of us. Only down side is I don't remember him being very quick, which ideally any new centre half would be.

As for the Pearce/Ivar partnership being two players who are a bit too similar, I'd say Pearce isn't much different either to be honest.

Very perceptive!

I'd also add Mills into the same bracket as well....

Bit of a strange signing IMO. He's not going to want to come here and sit on the bench, but I can't see where he's going to play currently.

Confused

I thought players could only play competitive games for max two clubs during a season: this guy's played for Newcastle (league) and Blackburn (cups). I don't get it.

I don't like to slag off our 'up and coming' youngsters but he doesn't do it for me either.

Jollyjimmy, are you sure? I was just having a look at our Zurab on the Rovers website and it looked like he'd made a half a dozen starts in the league and an appearance in each ofthe cups for Newcastle...

Seems like an excellent choice to bring in ahead of Ivar who has long been on the wain. Can't see him in midfield at all. Karacan has been excellent and as others have said to incorporate a solely defensive midfielder we'd really need to play three in the middle.

We also have Howard & Tabb who aren't too bad at the more workmanlike role and Cisse & Gunnar who can fill in if really necessary.

Pearce is a decent lad and no worse than Ivar this season IMO. But he'll never take us beyond mid championship. Maybe he's on his way...

I'd be very happy to see Khiz in for Ivar. I wouldn't be too upset to see him in for Griffin, although it would be a strange choice. I'd be upset to see him in for Karacan or with Karacan.
