donface I know we're from Reading and that, but they choose to live in Croydon.

Go figure.

Would that be "unsightly Croydon town"? :)

Sir Rodney Effing Blimey, that must be Colin Wan..., sorry, Neil Warnock's lovely attitude rubbing off on them.
Sour Grapes? That is a sour fruit salad.

But hidden away on their I did find "neither Palace or Reading will go down this season" so there's one Eagles fan who can rise above Warnock's moronic ways.

Warnock's attitude can be seen filtering through his players and fans in every team he has managed
A character? No doubt, but one I could personally live without

Loved the anti Warnock songs last night

The whole year inn 'I am sure that we will easily pick up the 10 or so points that we require to pass the first target of 43 points which should be enough to see us safe.'

:?

Wow, that's some smarts. Has 43 ever been enough to stay up?

i thought the ref was pretty good on the whole. let a few things go and missed the odd thing. but didn't havea big bearing on the result

Let a lot of things go IMO
And these could have had a big impact. The fact that they didn't bears no relationship to them being poor decisions
Conclusion - not a good ref

General consensus on there forum is we dive and cheated our way to victory. The ref was poor but i didn't see any diving or cheating, did anyone else? seems like sour grapes.

I couldn't give two shiny-sh*ts at to what Palace fans think - it is bad enough reading all your comments most of the time - and I shan't be clicking on any link of theirs, but if they seriously think that Reading conned them last night then they are as deluded as their anti-social manager. We scored 3, hit the post, made an absolute mess of a 2-on-1 situation and Gylfi should have scored when he cut in right at the end and lacked composure. Should have been about 6-1.

To be fair this was also on their forum:

" Credit to Reading, they look a good side tonight, just as there form is showing. Our defence was awful tonight and perhaps only Davis comes out okay with his performance. Midfield was also poor and perhaps I'm being hard on the defence as the team defended badly from the front to the back. With regards to being knackered, please note that Reading are still in the cup and have played just as many games as us. We are in one big relegation fight now and tonights and Swanseas performance show that."

Obviously an idiot fan used to Premiership points totals

I'd be happy to let them stay on 43 points and find out

...43 points would have been enough in 05/06 - the year that someone "two penny halfpenny outfit" ran away with it amassing a huge 106 points!! :P

21 Queens Park Rangers ..46 12 14 20 50 65 -15 50
22 Crewe Alexandra .........46 9 15 22 57 86 -29 42
23 Millwall ....................46 8 16 22 35 62 -27 40
24 Brighton & Hove Albion .46 7 17 22 39 71 -32 38

... the yr before the Gills went down with 50 and the Saddlers with 51 the yr before that!

That was a particularly skewed year though.

I'm confused why would you click on a topic called "what palace thought" if you don't "give two shiny-shits at to what palace fans think" and then proceed to get wound up about what the palace fans think

It wouldnt surprise me if there were only 15 point between relegation and the play offs this year.

Someone is going to be very unlucky and could go down with 52/53 points

We need 53 points (no team has been relegated from the Championship in the last 9 years with 53 points. Leicester City went down with 52 points.

It doesn't help at all.

We need one more point (or one more goal) than the team in 22nd place. You cannot state any more than that. Leicester would have looked at 'history' and said they need 52 points because no one had been relegated on that number. I bet they had a shock.....

Shame really, with Coppell, Palace had a manager with a bit of class. Now they have an idiot thug with the brain power of Cleetus the slack jawed yocal.

Was just about to make the same point - problem is that if QPR had made 43, chances would have been that the 7 pts lost by them may have been made by Milwall or Crewe, so it might not have been enough after all.

Actually there may be a scenario in which 46 was enough for Crewe, but I can't be arsed to fill in the details.
