Berbatov cost more and has been rubbish too, and how much did united play for that serbian bloke tosic? on loan at a german club last i heard, has he even played for them?

fact is every club makes dud signings

however another fact is that liverpool cannot afford to make dud signings

rafa can be full of shite at times, he says he is not playing aquilani

a) coz he needs time to adapt

b) coz they are fighting for a top four place and it's too risky to include him

in answer to point a) he stuck maxi rodriquez straight into the team, in answer to point b) why pay 20 million for a guy who you don't believe can deliver when the heat is on, liverpool in dire financial straits and they splash their budget on a luxury fancy dan player they are too afraid to play

He looks like becoming the costliest flop since Veron, although admittedly Berbatov is running that one pretty close.

Never understood the Berbatov interest to be honest. On his day he's a brilliant highlights package waiting to happen but over the course of a season he's not good enough for Utd.

He needs to be a big fish in a smaller pond where he'll play every week irrespective of effort and performance.

What do the "In Rafa we trust" delusionals think about Rafa signing Aquilani when he was injured and unable to play until the end of October and then only three games by the end of November? If he was supposed to be Alonso's replacement, the treatment room wasn't the place where it was going to happen.

TMD,
You really ought to see somebody about your obsession......and I am being serious, especially posting on another club's website about yet another different club and it's players makes me think you must be really screwed up.
Have you sought any help?
Did your parents buy you a Liverpool kit as a child or something when all of your friends had Man Utd or Arsenal kits and you were regularly beaten up?
If so they really have a lot to answer for,as if there were not already enough misfits in our society.

Gus the teenage cow Berbatov cost more and has been rubbish too

Every time I've seen him he's been a good player, he does more than score goals IMO. Not quite £30 Million though!

Berbatov has had a lot of unpublicised off the pitch problems over the last year - apparently he had to relocate a large portion of his family from Bulgaria after threats of violence and kidnappings etc.

Now that has all passed, he seems to be concentrating of his football a lot more and starting to get back to the performances that he was delivering at Spurs.

In fairness to Berbotov whilst he has never played as well as he did at Spurs for United, I would say compared to Shevchenko and Robhinio 2 other 30 millon signings. He has been a bargain.

Uhm.. did you see Berbatov today?
Set up two and scored once, I believe, unless I need my eyesight checked.
He looks a class act if you ask me.

Yep and he offers something far different than their other strikers. I can't understand why he gets as much stick as he does. He's a very good player and a great option in their squad.

Give the lad some time for god sake, he can't have even played 20 games for Liverpool yet. Give him time to settle in this country and get a full pre-season in before calling him a flop. :|

Ideal I don't understand how Aquilani is supposed to settle, he has nothing.
He is basicly some kinda workhorse, yet he has no work rate.

Did you ever see him play for Roma, or are you commenting on football you haven't actually seen again?

He's not a work horse at all, he's a ball player and in that roll you need to understand the pace/tempo of the league you are in. Far too early to rule him out, he's hardly been fully fit AND he's playing in a side that have been woeful all season.

He's had all of 3 assists in like 140 matches in the serie A. I would not call him anything other than a workhorse.

So that's a yes, then?
