I thought it was old news.

However, being reported in the national press, even if the Mail, would tend to indicate that something is not "unfounded".

Well, it has a foundation.

How sound that foundation may be is another question.....................

BBC gossip reporting today the F'in Wolves are targeting Sig as a summer signing.

I appreciate McD wants to keep him but if Wolves offer £20K a week and prem football, it will turn Gylfis head alright and as we know, if a player wants a move, being under contract isn't really worth the paper its written on because they stop giving 100% and start playing at 90% (see Shorey, Hunt etc).

Step up Jem Karacan if Sig does leave.

At his age and ability, I'd want no less than £4m for him. Gutted if we conceed to a lesser bid. We need him next season. Karacan is no Sigurdsson.

Sig will be alright, he knows he'll get his move eventually. He's not stupid, won't force anything and we won't except anything other than silly money, which no one will pay for him.

£4m and a sell on clause would be a decent bit of business.

Agreed.

That said, we'd be woeful without sigs goals next season, not sure what we'd do as our strikers don't score enough.
