Not a bad game, but yet another 1-0 at the new Wembley.

Says it all when John Terry says that's the worst pitch he's played on all year!

Just glad Portsmouth didn't win it. I hope their team disintegrates, and points deductions follow them into the Championship season.

Was I the only one who got increasingly annoyed at the slo-mo crowd reactions at every frikkin chance?

I noticed it once. Did they keep doing it?

Can't say I was riveted to the spectacle to be honest.

I did notice they had a camera tuned on Boateng for the entire 90 minutes of the show after he'd missed the penalty which was a little unnecessary.

I also noticed the abysmal commentating after the amazing save from James - at least Beglin gave up the ghost pretty quickly but Tyldesley was still twatting on about the need for goal-line technology in FA Cup Finals 5 minutes after everyone else in the world knew it didn't cross the line in entirety.

Decent game but shame they couldn't have both lost.

I like those. They make me laugh with the contrasting emotions, you know what they're going through, but don't feel it yourself... also, the reactions of the managers are good viewing.

About an hour before the game R5 interviewed Gianluca Viali at Wembley, when asked if he was there to support Chelsea he said no, just there to support a couple of mates who are still at Chelsea then went on to say that he is actually a Man Utd fan.

Jerry St Clair Tyldesley: "Even on the replay, my instinct is that it's a goal"

Well, it isn't, Clive. Why don't you just resign now?

Maybe because he's still on +GBP300k a year?

I had absolutely no interest in the game - the financially bankrupt against the morally bankrupt.

Agreed. I watched it only because I had nothing better to do although I did take a shit at HT, which was quite exciting.

I let the kids watch "Hotel for Dogs" instead of watching the cup final.
