T.R.O.L.I. As a slight aside, how many teams from the PL get exemptions into the 3rd round? Is it the top 7 (i.e. all the qualifers for CL and EL) or do the Intertoto brigade get a bye (if the Intertoto still exists)?

T.R.O.L.I. No, no, no.
How many times does it have to be mentioned that the first round is regionalised and SEEDED???
Which, in simple terms, mean the top ranked 35 teams from last year are kept separate from the bottom ranked 35 teams.
Therefore, we can only play a "southern" team who finished no higher than 14th in last seasons League 1.
So that's no Swindon, Southampton, Brentford, Ipswich or Peterborough (all mentioned so far).

T.R.O.L.I. Seeing that the seeding had already been mentioned at least twice, sometimes, Ian, things on here need to be spelt out. You should know that by now![]()
