Barry the bird boggler IN, day off in sunny Torquay, no doubt it'll be set for Tue 10th August.
Isn't Lee Hodges down there?
Nope, released new manager of Truro City.
Good chance that ex trainee Scott Rendell might be playing for us.

Reading FC get Torquay United away in Carling Cup
By Jonny Fordham
June 15, 2010
Reading will face Torquay United away in the first round of the Carling Cup.
Brian McDermott's men face a trip to Plainmoor during the week of Monday, August 9 with exact details to be confirmed in due course.
Royals have not faced the Gulls since a 6-1 victory at Elm Park in Division Three in April 1992.
Reacitng to the draw, McDermott said: “It's a part of the world I know well from when I played at Exeter and we had a good few derbies against them.
“We'll have a good look at Torquay before we play them, it's important we do our homework properly and prepare properly, travel down the night before.
“Games like this are never easy but when the game comes around we'll know all about them and be prepared.”
McDermott also remained coy when asked if would play a wakened side in the League Cup, he added: “I don't know.
“It's a long way off and we'll see. But I didn't do that in the FA Cup. We've got a big squad so there's a possibility, it's a long way off yet."
Paul Buckle's men finished 17th in League Two last season and their top scorer was former Reading Academy striker Scott Rendell who scored 13 times while on loan from relegated Peterborough United.
Last season Royals were knocked out in the second round by Barnsley after losing 2-1 at Madejski Stadium.

Barney 100% IN.
Some cracking pubs down in Torquay. I know the place pretty well, so if anyone wants
names of decent pre-match boozers...I am happy to post on here.

Starry Blue Hooped Wonder Excellent draw as I'm down in Dawlish for the first two weeks of August.
Just got to persuade the missus to let me and my son out for the evening.

Dirk Gently How many tickets are likely to be available for this?
With so many people crawling out of the woodwork saying they're "IN" there's likely to be quite a demand ......

Away sides get a whole end and some of the side, so I'd imagine that an allocation of roughly 1000 could be given. I'd guess that it'll be pay on the gate though...AP confirm?
