From where I was, looking on the same angle as the lino, I was immediately convinced it was well over the line, so I can see exactly why he called it. There was masses of spin on the ball from hitting the bar and that's what made it bounce back out.

But really, as always, if we'd taken our chances earlier it should have all been academic - Long's missed chip from the edge of the box was particularly embarrassing.

From where I was sat in Y26, It was IN. My old man thought it was IN and the bloke I sit next to said it was IN.
Rex was sitting next to me but he can voice his own opinion on here

If it was on the deck then yes, six inches off the deck and that's nowhere near. That's the trouble with perspective.

That shows nothing in isolation. As Finerain points out, the ball could have hit the line and be bouncing upwards.

I was stood right along the line. I haven't seen the replay yet, but it didn't even look close to me. I'm not certain that any Cardiff players appealed for it.

John Madejski's Wallet To be fair tHo McD, tonight is probably the first time his subs have had such a negative impact on the game.

Seriously, how the f*ck was that donkey HRK ever going to improve on hunt?

Hunt was fukked and doing absolutely nothing. I called that sub and it was the right one. Tabb coming on was right too as they were all over us at the time.

Great miss from LOLong and I too thought the ball was in. Then again I was 100 yards away.

Great performance by the lads tonight. They all worked very hard and I think they were robbed. I think your initial reaction is normally correct and I had a very good view from East Stand and it never occurred to me that the ball had crossed the line. It looked to have simply bounced down away from the goal and Fed grabbed it. Therefore, the linesman clearly breached the rules of the game which say that he must be "sure" it crossed the line - which he could not be. Having said that we should have been 2-0 up at half time and also squandered some good chances in the second half. Really expected us to get beaten though - so a good result.

Fed 6- not much to did but did well with what he had to
Griffin 8 - thought all the back 4 played equally well tonight so will give them all 8
Mills 8
Khiz 8
Harte 8 - I would have brought Armstrong back but cannot fault Harte tonight
McAnuff 6 - probably the weakest performance of the night for me
Howard - 9 MOTM performance for me - ran midfield for us tonight
Karacan 7 - ably assisted Howard
Hunt - 8 - beginning to look to be getting back to his best
Church -8 - good first half but faded - should have scored first half
Long - 8 - another excellent performance, but still lacking a bit of confidence when the big chance came, which he wasted

Tabb - 6
RK - 5

McD 9 - great team selection
Ref- OK in parts but twice failed to get out of the way and cost us possession. Looked unfit and struggled to keep up with play.
Linesman - minus 10 for a terrible decision

Happy enough with the Tabb sub, but HRK brings f*ck all effort into the team. Didnt bother helping in defence and didnt manage to beat the right back once (which the f*cked Hunt had done just before being subbed..... man even Howard managed it!). At least antonia might have been having a good-bas-savage day!

Regardless of whether it's in or not, I think that photo shows it's close enough that you can hardly blame the officials whichever way they call it.

A draw seems a good result, considering respective positions and form. Though it sounded like Cardiff missed a few they would normally have put away, we also sounded like we should have had more.

Sat in line on the same side as the Lino, my initial reaction was 'that's in and it's not close' and I looked to the lino to flag it, which he did. If TV is showing it was inconclusive then that's fair enough but I'd at least give credit to the lino for being decisive, he didn't shirk away from it and leave it to D'urso.

Speaking of D'urso the guys f'king useless and I've never seen him have a good game here, totally inconsistant, how you give a freekick against Zurab on Boothroyd on the byline and then don't give one in the build up to the goal, I don't know

Still as others have said we should have been out of sight by the time Cardiff equalised. Big chances missed and again sums up the need for a clinical finisher. Despite that though I'd give credit to all 3 of our 'strikers' who were excellent, especially to Shane Long who I thought had a very good game. In fact the whole team aside from maybe Harte/Mills were above average and even those two weren't bad.

Cardiff weren't a patch on QPR and three points were there for the taking :(

Given what you see is largely what you believe you should be seeing, it is perfectly possible for him to have "seen" it cross the line in that split second, even if it didn't.

All we need is a class Centre Midfielder who can put his foot on the ball and control a game. If we had that today and probably kebe we would have smashed Cardiff. Plus why don't refs use common sense and realise a 6ft 3 man doesn't just fall over when they feel the slightest nudge, as if I went to a bar and got into some trouble, I feel that if I nudged them, they wouldn't hit the floor like a sack of spuds. Sort the oxf*rd officials out.

Only remember once when he was really made to look very slow. He generally covered very well and made several interceptions and kept possession well. I have been critical of him recently but thought he was good tonight.

I was sat just behind the line of the goal and you could see that there was clear view of the back post after the ball hit the underside. The spin just simply took the ball back out.
