This would make a great read, especially for players on the threshold of the premier league.
But I think that SSC is exonerated from any accusations of folly.

readingbedding Manchester United at home is the same as Scunthorpe at home for me.
By that I mean that I would be there whoever we played.



if anything scunny is better because we have more of a chance of winning that one...........

The point I was making is that you should want to test yourself against the best. I accept that some people won't want to do that. and the predictability of the prem most seasons probably makes that worse to watch than the championship. I just wonder what is left for us to achieve having been to the "promised land" and it leaves me slightly numb to think that the only realistic aim we can have is to be the next Stoke........

And FWIW I go to as many games in the Championship (if not more) than when we were in the prem.
