A mate of mine is a Swindon fan and seems convinced Austin is going to sign for us

I can see Austin signing for us in January, would be a good move for him, and with him living locally providing we can agree a fee and possibly use Mooney as a make weight in the deal it would suit both clubs as Mooney's got no future at Reading it would appear.

Seen him play before, good player - wouldnt be a bad signing, shouldn't break the bank for Mr Mad and it's only down the road for the player. Him and Leigertwood to sign in Jan?

Suprised he's being linked to the tarriers, they don't have much money at the moment and bought hooper in the summer who is of a similar calibre.

2.5m total for a league one striker? It's not championship manager! That would represent 7 a game extra in ticket prices for each of our 16k fans, to see this lad in blue and white. The scum would snatch about 1m if he wants to leave.
