Hello, never posted a rumour before but apparently we are one of about 5 teams looking at this Tranmere youngster. The other clubs that are looking at him are West Brom, Everton, Newcastle and Bolton. He is apparently a bit of a wonder kid (youtube Plymouth goal) and my Tranmere support work colleague raves about him. This rumour came from a League 2 footballer (good friends with Jennings).

Note: Jennings did not play on saturday because he fell out with Les Parry due to the fact Tranmere will not let him go for any less than a £1m. So I doubt we're going to get him! But thought I'd let you all know.

A very quick player who could be ideal if we let either Jobi or Kebe go.
Blackpool took a chance on Phillips from Wycombe and that move is paying dividends already so the step up of one division (rather than three in the case of Phillips) could well be manageable.

we have, we signed leigertwood. you wont see many more come in this summer. as said, we have long's replacement here already in brett williams to support church (eek), manset and hunt. i hope we sign a decent striker but i wouldnt be surprised if we don't.

I'm sure we are looking at some of the players available on free transfers but other than that it's difficult for the Club to properly assess their needs until they know which of our top players we are going to lose.

For instance I wouldn't have thought we would want to splash the cash for Jennings unless Kebe or McAnuff leave. Therefore we will undoubtedly miss out on some good players. However in my opinion we will sign replacements for Long or Mills should they leave and probably for Kebe especially if we lose HRK.
