winchester_royal How do you know he isn't going to feature this season?? :|

Barring injuries he won't. He is a CB and I would say that all of Pearce, Mills, Khiz and Ingi will be ahead of him. As Swindon fans have said he is inconsistent and still need to mature as a player.

He is being signed for the future, not now.

Ingimarsson isn't going to play championship football again.

Bit premature. He was only an injury away from playing against West Brom in the cup.

Quoted again just for the LOL's........

West Stand Man Interesting, because I am obviously in a minority position. After a shakey start I think Mills is shaping up to be, possibly, the best CB in this league. He still makes the odd mistake - but isn't that expected for young player who is still developing? It isn't his fault he cost £2M (if he did).

He's some way off the likes of Williams, Hudson, Taylor, Wheater, but he's a decent enough defender at this level. As are our other options back there. They're still a little too similar to each other for my liking though.

Mills is a good defender, but he's got the sort of petulance that you'd rather a defender didn't have. But still, he's early 20's, he'll grow up.

Now see here - I thought that was rather witty from rfcjoe!

He could of mentioned that Robbie Fowler was having a medical, but no - he went for a modern equivalent... Since you know' Robbies ancient

Wycombe Royal http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/s/swindon_town/9361217.stm

Swindon Town have agreed to sell defender Sean Morrison to Reading, BBC Wiltshire understands.

The 20-year-old is set to formally join the Championship side next week.

It is understood Morrison has exercised a release-clause in his contract at the County Ground triggered by Reading offering enough money.

The Plymouth-born central defender, who joined from Argyle in 2007, has made 25 starts for The Robins this season, scoring five goals.

He had been linked in recent months with Newcastle, Sunderland and Queens Park Rovers, but no bids were made.

It is unlikely he will play for Swindon in Saturday's League One game against Yeovil.

£250,000 is the trigger clause, to be completed by Friday at the latest so he is registered in time for Hull

If Mills and Zurab are still injured I honestly believe Morrison will be on the bench IF we sign him.

Morrison and Williams were both in the hotel yesterday.

this seems to be dragging on though - perhaps they are waiting for Austin to sign too and unveil all at the same time.

Just on Morrison I wonder if Kish's knee problems are worse than first feared so with that leaving just the three centre-backs including Ivar who is getting older and more risky a proposition this looks to be a good move by RFC.
I just hope he turns out to be better than some of our other centre-back "ones for the future" in Bennett and the big cumbersome black lad who came from non-league and I think is back at that level again.
Viveash was a good buy from Swindon (as was Tom Jones) so if he is as good as Viveash that'll do for me.
