Colin Cheeselog Are you people unable to spell Leigertwood because of learning difficulties, or is there another reason?

if you check around the forums you'll find at least a dozen spellings of his name

Wright was an used sub yesterday.

From the Scunny forum - 'heard from a good source that he is going to Reading this week.'

Mixed views from the Scunny fans - some really rate him others not.

This comment about him remind you of anyone?

'....My opinion is that he passes sideways too often, lacks a proper tackle and doesn't score enough.'

Yes the new James Harper!

Seems from his reasoning for his transfer request, that he will no doubt move down south

I hope it is not to us though

Hopefully, like Harper, his banter would make up for any lack of contribution on the pitch.

Just watched that and i've always been a big fan of Harps. A few of those goals were very similar to the kind Sidwell scored for us, running late into the box, we badly need someone to score these type of goals again.

Wright > Howard, so win win if this happens and Howard leaves.

BBC OS reports

Barnsley boss Mark Robins says he would be interested in re-signing former Reds captain Brian Howard from Reading.

The 27-year-old midfielder has struggled to keep a regular spot in the Royals side since joining the club from Sheffield United in 2009.

"Brian is a good player it's as simple as that, he was a fans' favourite," Robins told BBC Radio Sheffield.

"Whether they would allow him out to play for another team in the same league, time will tell."

Howard joined Barnsley in 2005 and played 137 games during his four-year spell at Oakwell.

He left to join the Blades, initially on loan, in 2008 but spent just a year at Bramall Lane before signing for Reading, where he has played 56 times.
