SPECULATION: Nathan Tyson

Tyson looks to be on the way out of Forest, would be available for a loan for the rest of this season.

ex RFC. Would he work well enough alongside Long?

28 (00) 10 Goals
17 (13) 09 Goals
31 (08) 12 Goals
31 (08) 07 Goals
20 (18) 02 Goals 2009-10
09 (14) 01 Goals 2010-11

136 (61) = approx 13,410 Minutes for 41 Goals, a goal every 320 minutes.

Not exactly prolific and the last two seasons goals have dried up,
so looks like I might have answered my own question

Spoke with him not so long ago (i know, look at me) and a return to Reading (as much as he'll love it) is not on the cards

No chance - both Antonio and R-K are better IMO.

Ahh...I suppose you think the fact that you have a 1957 in your name makes you in some way superior to us inexperienced half-wits when it comes to footballing opinions.

But as for saying Robson-Kanu is better than Tyson....I'm afrai that is just pure idiocy. And we haven't seen anywhere near enough of Antonio to say that either.

Ah football is all about opinions. Obviously Tyson is much older but I watched him a lot whilst he was at RFC and IMO both the players I mentioned have more potental than he showed at the same age. Only time will tell of course but I would much prefer to work with our own young players than bring back an RFC reject - who we did not deem good enough before we had ever been to the PL.

Well yes, football is all about opinions. I'm just a little puzzled as to why you think yours is '>>>>>>>>>>>' than mine, but ah well....

Coppell wanted him to stay - but told him he wouldn't be guaranteed regular football......gave him the option to move on, and so he took it. It made him a better player and he very nearly signed for Man City, only to opt for Forest as they offered him a chance of regular first team games.
