Reading are monitoring AZ Alkmaar striker Kolbeinn Sigthorsson along with Arsenal and West Ham.

Sigthorsson is a great talent, a real fox in the box kind of striker and would be a good coup for Reading. However take note that the dutch Premier League is of same or slightly lower standard than the english championship so his 10 goals in 20 appearences for AZ this season must be looked in a light of that.

He is only 20 though and has international record of 3 goals in 5 appearences.

Sounds interesting; presumably he is Icelandic?? If so then obviously he will know and have been a team-mate of The Sig, who will say good things about us which may well give us an edge over other clubs who may be interested.
