As I've pointed out on here before, Taylor is one of the best defenders in this league and did reasonably well in the Premier League for Birmingham until Wenger tarred him with the reputation of being a kicker after he broke Eduardo's leg.

Taylor is a top defender (and hardly gets booked etc despite what Wenger thinks) but is 32 so not exactly one for the future.

Liverpool had been linked with Sordell before...still very raw though and Adam Thompson is an excellent prospect (already playing for NI 1st team) but only just come intot he side due to injuries.
