Just flicking down the posts and came to family club of the year. Chuckle.

I wonder how many families will be split between those that can get tickets and those that can't?

leicsRoyal Had to get my dictionary out to find out the exact explanation of Karma. Lol

Now I am confused.

:)

Basically, Reading had to commit to 2800 and City committed to a reduced capacity (policing, steward arrangements) before demand from either club was fully appreciated.

Now that the demand is appreciated; if City are to open their upper tiers to home fans without coming to a last minute arrangement with Reading for additional capacity then that is unfairly disadvantaging us and will result in bad karma for City.

Thanks EPR,

My dictionary started talking about reincarnation. Started asking myself how far I would go for a ticket!

PEARCEY
EPR If City open the upper tiers to GS tomorrow they have to offer Reading some extra capacity.

If policing is an issue, then surely a couple of TVP's finest can hop along for the ride on each of the free coaches.

They can watch out for people drinking at the same time so double whammy.

They would surely have enough time to sort out the policing issue with still a week to go. Man City have messed up big-time here. .

I'm struggling to see what Man City have done wrong when everything they appear to have done was in response to the massive cock up that is RFC only requesting 2,800 seats.

The only fault might be if it really is true that they weren't getting the tickets to RFC until Monday.

^ They have under-estimated their own supporters demand for tickets which will have a knock-on effect should we try and ask for another allocation. Don't get me wrong I'm not happy with Reading FC but I don't think Man City have been any more clued up.

Neither City or Reading have yet done anything wrong - it's been a ClusterFUBAR.

All i'm saying is that if City are able to make last minute arrangements to open up their upper tiers to home fans then I don't think that is morally fair.

Royal Lady Craig Mortimer should be sacked. Pious little whatsit that he is. His comments on BBCRB were a disgrace - cos he was frightened of telling the truth and the backlash that will occur as a result of it.

Agree entirely. BBCRB should demand he does an interview with them and explains why he covered up the truth when he already knew damn well what the situation was.

He's a spineless git who makes Mandelson and co look open and honest!

For anyone who would like to tell him a few home truths should they bump into him, this is what he looks like:

This thread is going to go into complete overload if City open up the top tiers in the next couple of days which is being strongly hinted at on their blue moon forum. http://forums.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk/viewt ... 1&t=210451

Craig doesn't have anything to do with the ticket allocations though, and if indeed he already knew the club had cocked up, unconfirmed at that point, I don't blame him for not wanting to take the brunt of the abuse.

You're all making the mistake of thinking the club actually gives a shit about what their supporters think, when actually all they care about is their financial exposure on unsold tickets. The talk of rewarding loyal supporters is just bollocks, we're all just mug punters just waiting to swallow every marketing initiative and to be fleeced at every opportunity, albeit less so on this occasion.

Without going through the whole thread. Could someone answer this question.

Are Reading FC only getting 2,800 tickets? Or will there be further tickets available if these sell?

What I can't understand is. The City v Villa game was played last Wednesday. Why couldn't tickets be made available on Friday? We're in the 21st century now. Surely is doesn't take that long to get ticketing arrangements sorted. This would have given an extra couple of days for fans to purchase tickets.

We are only getting 2800 - no option to get more as the club fcuked up.

Stone cold logic and ticket demand do not equate with the club.

LOLaughabLOLe!!

In all seriousness - as fans - you should boycott the game. But you won't. The 2,800 will sell, you'll get dumped out of the cup and that will be that and Reading FC will keep quiet on the matter.

Certain people at the club should be getting fired for this. It is obvious to anyone that you would at least sell over 5,000 tickets. How the club could not forsee this is a shambles of the highest order. A massive chance for you to get in the Semi-Final of the FA Cup and the club makes the biggest balls up I've known for such a major event in Readings history.
