Schards#2
JIM Please no draw. Last time MCITY came to play a cup replay we got we got stuffed 8-0

Wasn't it 4-1?

Call yourself a City fan Schards it was 4-0. Remember the league cup tie up there in 93 when massive City pulled in 9,000. There was more at EP for the replay.
A lucky 1-0 win for the worlds richest but worst supported club.

I've got..
£10 Reading win - 8/1
£10 Long to score 1st goal - 8/1
£10 Long to score twice - 16/1

So 1-2 (Long 12, 75) would be great, thanks.

Kiev have just gone 1-0 up :D

Surely if Man City don't come away from Ukraine with a win, they will be resting players so they are fit for the home match against them?

Oh and from the BBC text... "2032: Joe Hart looked like he had picked up an injury in challenging Andriy Shevchenko for that ball, but the England keeper is absolutely fine to continue. That's Sheva's 67th goal in European competition. Wow."

Will be interesting to see whether that "injury" progesses.

Don't want it to get any harder for them or they may give up and concentrate on the league / FA Cup. A 1 goal deficit or draw is ideal IMO.

Anyone in Icleand want to throw a bomb down that volcano so they can't fly back from Kiev and we get a bye to the semi-finals?

LAWRO PREDICTS (ITS BACK)

Man City v Reading (1645 GMT)
I thought Reading would be beaten at Everton in the fifth round, but Royals boss Brian McDermott proved everyone wrong. He has done a very good job there - his side are unbeaten in their last seven games and are on the fringes of the Championship play-off race too.
Reading look well organised when they attack, and they will definitely pose a threat at Eastlands because their striker Shane Long knows where the goal is.
But the thing about Manchester City is that they can leave a few first-choice players out and still look very strong, and I would be surprised if their manager Roberto Mancini plays a seriously weakened side - what is the point when he has got this far in the competition?
People are already talking about the possibility of City playing United in the semis or even the final and, if I were their owners, I would be thinking that I want to win the Cup.
Even getting to Wembley would be huge for City, considering it is 30 years since they were last in an FA Cup semi-final.
They are one game from managing that, and are at home to a Championship side. Mancini might be concentrating on their chances of a top-four finish but I think they will qualify for the Champions League anyway and, for their fans, they have to go for it in this tie and look to give them a day out too.
Prediction: 2-0

I dreamt last night that we went 3-1 up but then went on to lose 4-3. I'll stick with that!

Reasons to be cheerful in that Man City performance? They appear happy to pass it around forever in front of the defence, which would suit us all day. Not much wing threat, which is where we are vulnerable. Silva looked to play inside. Johnson and Milner don't seem available. Wright-Phillips v Harte would be an interesting one: speed versus brains. The Kiev forward Gusiev seemed to be able to run past Lescott, so maybe we're not the only ones with a slow defence. Dzeko and Balotelli were out of sorts. I hope they don't play Vieira, who is too wily for my liking.

They look shit ,couldnt play through em,vulnerable on the wings and on the break.shit defence. We are nailed on for the win. It is our destiny.
